Overview

Cognito Systems, a Planned Systems International (PSI) joint venture, is seeking a skilled Management Analyst. The purpose of this overall project is to provide centralized credentialing and privileging services and support to the United States Army Reserve (USAR) Command with initial entry credentialing, maintenance of credentialing and privileging, and support the Centralized Credentials Privileging Board’s review of completed credentials and privileging files.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by program or project managers and customers. The candidate shall draw conclusions and devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of management effectiveness, organizational structures, work methods and procedure efficiency, and resource requirements, utilization or control. Also, the candidate will perform the following duties:

  • Develop and draft program or project milestone, progress monitoring, financial, acquisition, quality control, maintenance, or training documentation; may perform work measurement studies, program or project operations efficiency reviews, cost studies, or workload change impact analyses
  • Rely upon and use automated management information systems in performing fact finding, analytical, and advisory functions
  • Review, evaluate, and provide quality control of all Provider Credential File (PCFs) within the repository to include review of Inter-facility Credentialing Transfer Brief (ICTB) that are ready for approval by Military Risk Review Managers.
  • Monitor the accuracy of information data that has been input into AWMS and Centralized Credentialing Quality Assurance System (JCCQAS).
  • Coordinate activities and report directly to multiple levels of leadership, including the Project Manager.

Minimum Requirements

  • Three (3) Years experience with two (2) years performing Quality Control monitoring and/or program development functions for major DoD / healthcare providers.
  • Bachelor or postgraduate degree in mathematics, statistics, or a business or management discipline such as business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or management informaiton technology. 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Quality Assurance preferred.
  • Experience in the DOD credentials process preferred
