Overview

ProSphere (PST), a Planned Systems International company (PSI), referred to as PSI-PST is seeking a M365 Administrator with experience in operations and maintenance of systems and or networks.  This position will be part of a team supporting an Enterprise Messaging and Collaboration Services (EMCS) (EMCAO) infrastructure that provides National-level e-mail and collaboration services for approximately 500,000 Veterans Administration customers located across all 50 States and Puerto Rico. The messaging infrastructure is based on Microsoft Cloud Services which includes Exchange Online, Outlook O365, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Blackberry Work Enterprise all managed on cloud base servers.

  • Ability to provide 24/7/365 Remote service on differing shifts, to include after-hours shifts. This position is for 11PM CST – 7AM CST Shift and Weekends as needed. (Please do not include resumes that cannot work this shift)

 

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier III/IV support for the VA EMCS environment.
  • Answer incoming priority calls from the VA Enterprise Service Desk (VA-ESD), triage and resolve issues.
  • Resolve National EMCS Tier III/IV tickets.
  • Apply multidisciplinary system and Exchange administrator skills to resolve enterprise-wide problems.
  • Maintain network performance by installing new software and performing upgrades and maintenance.
  • Activate and synchronize mobile devices with Exchange Servers
  • Monitor and report on complete EMCS infrastructure.
  • Reboot servers, clean up disk space, bring services on-line, and manage cluster resources.
  • Apply security/system patches and updates manually and through SCOM.
  • Responsible for all assigned trouble tickets from creation to resolution
  • Troubleshoot issues ranging from basic issues to email related issues for Executive level users.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline is preferred; 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
  • Experience providing IT support remotely to multiple work sites.
  • Working proficiency in:
    • Windows Admin Tools – ADUC, Cluster Admin, ADSI Edit
    • Microsoft Exchange Online, Active Directory and Group Policy
    • Exchange Management Console and Exchange Admin Center
    • Microsoft Office 365 environment
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Microsoft OneDrive
    • MS Office Tools- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (English)
  • Ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • ITIL Foundation certification a plus
