Overview

Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company who focuses on designing, building, securing, and operating cutting-edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organizations. We are currently seeking a Media Administrator responsible for providing professional skills and subject matter expertise to support in the design and maintenance for the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Public Affairs (PA) and Outreach Squadron’s SharePoint pages. This position will monitor link functionality and event submission ideas across the Command.

 

The position will be a part of a team responsible for assisting in the coordination, scheduling, refinement, and achievement of AFSOC PA and Outreach Squadron’s communication goals. The ideal candidate is an individual who is capable of working independently and as part of a team to accomplish assigned responsibilities and achieve prescribed metrics and goals. The candidate must be willing to cross-train to support other positions as required.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Develop After Action Reports for customer.
  • Maintain schedule continuity in SharePoint.
  • Design and maintain the AFSOC PAO’s SharePoint pages.
  • Ensure all SharePoint links function correctly; maintain link functionality of 85% or above.
  • Monitor event submission ideas, monitor for complete or incomplete event submissions, and consolidate event submission ideas for Command approval.
  • Assist in preparing a Monthly Status Report and Weekly Metrics Reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • Secret Level Security Clearance.
  • Experience managing SharePoint Site pages.
  • Experience integrating audio, photos, and video on web pages.
  • Must complete government-required trainings within 5 days of start, to include but not limited to American Forces Public Information Management System (AFPIMS) training and security awareness training.
  • Experience in developing After Action Reports.
  • Expert communication skills.
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug test and comply with on-base policies and procedures.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing Web 2.0 technologies to integrate digital media content.
  • Experience with technologies including Really Simple Syndication (RSS), podcasts, vodcasts, etc.
  • SharePoint Administration Training.
  • Experience in SharePoint Design and Maintenance.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate certification (must obtain within 30 days).
  • Experience building a brand or implementing strategic communication plans.
  • Familiarity or experience with social media marketing.
  • Military experience and/or familiarity with Air Force operations.
  • 4+ years relevant experience in a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Additional Information

  • Okaloosa County, Florida (Hurlburt Field)
  • Full-Time
  • Monday – Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm ET
  • Paid Time Off, including for 11 Federal Holidays
