Overview

ProSphere (PST), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking Sr. Project Manager to support the Census CAPI program at the National Processing Center in Jeffersonville Indiana. 

 

The NPC On-Site Sr. Project Manager will oversee and manage on-site operations, provide daily supervision and direction to staff, monitor performance targets, ensure schedules are met and resources are used effectively. The NPC On-Site Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues with Government personnel and when problems exist, implement timely corrective actions and develop creative solutions to address issues. The NPC On-Site Project Manager will also review current processes and procedures and continuously work to improve operations when he/she sees opportunities for improvement. The NPC On-Site Project Manager will work closely with the Program Manager to manage and support day-to-day operations of the CAPI I depot and to run meetings, brief customers on issues and report metrics. In performing day-to-day routine tasks, the NPC On-Site Project Manager in conjunction with the ProSphere Program Manager, ensures that the team follow established published guidelines and policy and perform all work according to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) procedures, as well as company processes and safety guidelines.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Participates in interviews with potential candidates. Manages staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new employees
  • Determines resourcing and makes assignments on prioritization of projects, working with the team on setting deadlines and ensuring a successful outcome
  • Creates action plans and manages the execution step by step
  • Managing projects to ensure adherence to timeline, budget, and scope
  • Updates plans, such as the Continuing Operation Support Plan and Procedures and the Transition Out Plan, as needed and other necessary process documents (i.e., Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Performs internal audits to identify any potential issues that could impact quality and to identify opportunities for improvement and implements improvements to policies and procedures.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Reports and communicates status and issues directly to the Government Management Team and the ProSphere Program Manager
  • As time permits, manager will support the team by providing additional assistance with day-to-day tasks, such as diagnostics, returns processing, material handling, restocking, and data entry."
