Planned Systems International, Inc is hiring well rounded Cloud Engineers to join our dynamic team responsible for providing a full suite of Cloud and Platform Operations and Engineering services in support a U.S. Air Force Software Factory. Work will be performed up to the TS/SCI level, and all candidates must have a minimum of Secret clearance to be eligible for hire. This position is primarily remote, with occasional visits to a client site needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering related discipline.
• Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
• US Citizenship is required due to client requirements.  
• 5+ years of experience working in systems and cloud engineering focused roles. 
• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for building services in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS in Cloud environments.  
• Experience with modern container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of AWS technology offerings and fundamentals.  
• Ability to work within Agile development teams to deliver an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment. 
• Ability to work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and external development teams to build and configure a high performing, scalable, cloud-based infrastructure.  
• Proven aptitude to create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.  
• Experience building and configuring delivery environments supporting CI/CD using an Agile delivery methodology.
• Proficiency with Nexus and Gitlab.
• Exceptional communication skills and desire to work in a “badgeless” collaborative team environment consisting of Government clients, other Contractors, and Stakeholders.

• Active T5 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
• Experience working with DoD Platform One is a plus.
• Be local to the San Antonio, Texas area and available for hybrid work (2x/week in office).
