Additional duties include reviewing system design specifications, conducting systems analysis, and recommending process improvements.
The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and other SMEs in meetings and project activities. Supported applications include, but are not limited to, VistA legacy systems, Oracle Millennium, and COTS/GOTS integrations with VistA.
As part of VA’s EHR modernization effort, the Nurse Informaticist will serve as a critical link between clinical practice and technology—ensuring alignment with workflows, improving patient outcomes, and driving data-driven care.
