QuarterLine (QL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide high-quality, comprehensive patient care at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), WA. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment in support of the military healthcare mission.
The Certified Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support in outpatient primary and specialty care clinics under the direction and supervision of Government healthcare providers. CMAs may support newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and other specialty clinics.
Responsibilities may include obtaining and documenting patient histories and vital signs; preparing patients and examination rooms; assisting providers with examinations, procedures, treatments, and minor office surgeries; collecting and processing laboratory specimens; performing basic diagnostic testing such as electrocardiograms and glucose testing; administering authorized injections and medications; maintaining medical records; and supporting patient education, follow-up, scheduling, and other clinic operations.
This role requires a dependable healthcare professional who can meet all Government qualification, credentialing, security, and onboarding requirements while working under a personal services arrangement. The ideal candidate will hold current CMA certification, have recent outpatient or clinical patient-care experience, demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, and provide safe, compassionate, and professional care to patients from diverse backgrounds while supporting the healthcare mission at MAMC.
