Overview

Pro-Sphere Tek, Inc. (ProSphere) is seeking Windows/SQL DevOps Admin/Engineer: Window and SQL Servers, Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE), SQL Server Development Tools (SSDT) including migrations of applications as needed, remediation of vulnerabilities for Nessus scans and user assistance for issues arising from server patching.  Day to day operational maintenance of: Win/SQL Servers including migrations of applications as needed, remediation of vulnerabilities for Nessus scans and assistance for issues arising from server patching. “This is a full-time position.  Remote at this time. Prior Department of Veterans Affairs, (VA), or prior Government experience desirable. Veterans are encouraged to apply.  

Responsibilities

  • IIS server (2012/2019):
    • Assistance for issues arising from Windows patching updates
    • Remediation for Nessus scan issues excluding all vendor and/or system vulnerabilities which are not caused by application installation and/or configuration
    • Assistance for issues arising from update for new Windows versions
  • Windows server (2012/2019):
    • Migration of applications for business unit
    • Assistance for issues arising from patching
    • Remediation for Nessus scan issues excluding all vendor and/or system vulnerabilities which are not caused by application installation and/or configuration
  • SSAS/SSRS server:
    • Assistance for issues arising from patching updates
    • Remediation for Nessus scan issues
  • MS SQL server (2016/2019):
    • Assistance for issues arising from patching updates
    • Remediation for Nessus scan issues
  • SQL Server Development Tools (SSDT):
    • Assistance for issues arising from patching updates
    • Remediation for Nessus scan issues
  • Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE):
    • Assistance for setting up permissions, establish user ID and migrate packages from old server(s)
    • Assistance for issues arising from Eclipse patches
    • Remediation for Nessus scan issues associated with Eclipse
    • Assistance for issues arising on business users Eclipse client on desktop

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science (8 years of combined experience may be substituted for education).
  • IIS server (2012/2019)
  • Windows server (2012/2019)
  • SSAS/SSRS server
  • Nessus scan
  • MS SQL server (2016/2019)
  • SQL Server Development Tools (SSDT)
  • Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
