Pro-Sphere Tek, Inc. (ProSphere) is seeking Linux/Oracle DevOps Admin / Engineer Web logic Servers including migrations of applications as needed, remediation of vulnerabilities for Nessus scans and assistance for issues arising from server patching. Day to day operational maintenance of: Linux/Oracle Web logic Servers including migrations of applications as needed, remediation of vulnerabilities for Nessus scans and assistance for issues arising from server patching. Day to day operational maintenance of: Linux/Oracle Web logic Servers including migrations of applications as needed, remediation of vulnerabilities for Nessus scans and assistance for issues arising from server patching. “This is a full-time position.  Remote at this time. Prior Department of Veterans Affairs, (VA), or prior Government experience desirable. Veterans are encouraged to apply.  

• Implement integrations requested by customers
• Deploy updates and fixes
• Provide Level 2 technical support
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field, (10 years of combined experience may be substituted for education).
• Oracle Web Logic server (11g/12c/19c)
• Linux server (6/7/8)
• Oracle client

Required Skills / Abilities

• Oracle Web Logic server (11g/12c/19c):
• Migration of applications for business unit
• Assistance for issues arising from patching updates
• Tracking of Java update issues and aid with config file adjustment
• Remediation for Nessus scan issues excluding all vendor and/or system vulnerabilities which are not caused by application installation and/or configuration
• Assistance for issues arising from Oracle Web Logic update for new versions
• Linux server (6/7/8):
• Migration of applications for business unit
• Assistance for issues arising from patching update
• Remediation for Nessus scan issues excluding all vendor and/or system vulnerabilities which are not caused by application installation and/or configuration
• Oracle client:
• Assistance for issues arising from patching updates
• Remediation for Nessus scan issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
