Overview

ProSphere is seeking a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) with experience managing Information Technology customer service operations. The BRM will serve as a liaison and business partner between the Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) subject matter experts and the Operating Administration customer base, ensuring customer requirements are understood and addressed. The BRM provides tailored customer service and maintains continuous, open communications between the IT Shared Services and the DOT customer on all IT service and support issues. This includes communicating customer requirements to IT Shared Services, information about IT Shared Services Enterprise projects to the customer base, and problem/issue escalation and resolution. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate with all project stakeholders. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.  This is a full-time position located in Washington, DC. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain tracker of on-going projects and future upgrades; communicate status of projects and upgrades to customers
  • Identify and document customer requirements and preferences to keep IT operations and Senior Federal Staff informed
  • Assist in the resolution of customer issues and Operating Administration requirements
  • Solicit input and prepare reports on feedback of on-going IT projects
  • Assist in the analysis of operational requirements and the development of long-term strategic IT requirements
  • Liaise between Subject Matter Experts and customers to clarify requirements and inform solutioning
  • Conduct interviews to capture emerging requirements; document interview results and maintain on SharePoint or other tracking tool
  • Review, understand, update, and maintain existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and efficiency
  • Plan, implement and conduct business processes and projects related to the IT Common Operating Environment operations

Qualifications

  • Formal Education: Bachelors
  • Years of Professional Experience: 4+ years of experience

Required Technical/Business Tools Experience

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Communication tools (Teams, SharePoint)
  • ServiceNow
