As a civilian contractor working for QuarterLine, you will utilize your abilities as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to treat active-duty personnel, military retirees, eligible veterans, and their enrolled family members at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center.

Minimum Requirements

How to Qualify: 

  • Degree: Bachelors or Masters Degree. 
  • Education: Graduate Physician Assistant qualified by academic and practical education to provide patient services as a physician extender under supervision of a physician. Graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF, is mandatory. 
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS), National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants (NCCPA). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified.
  • Experience: 24-months experience in an orthopedic clinical setting and have worked in that setting within the last 2-years. 
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship.
  • Credentialing:
    • Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
    • Current physical and immunizations.

Work Hours: 

  • Ortho Surgery hours are 0730 - 1630 Monday-Friday. 
  • MTF Hours are 0630-1830 Monday-Friday. 
  • The Orthopedic Physician Assistant will be scheduled to work no more than 40 hours/week or no more than 80 hours within a 2-week period.
